Meetings

All meetings of the Town Council are open to the public and press, except for those (very rare) occasions when it is deemed to be appropriate to exclude the public and press, by a Resolution in accordance with Standing Orders.

Ordinary Meetings of the Council are usually held on the fourth Wednesday of each month, commencing at 7.30pm, except in August when there is no meeting. Finance and Planning Committee meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month, commencing at 7 pm. The venue is usually the Shire Hall, but some meetings are held in the County Council chamber at the Civic Offices on Crescent Road. Please contact the Clerk to check, and to arrange disabled access.

Notices

There is a Town Council notice board fixed to a wall in the archway between Rhosmaen Street and the main car park. The minutes of all meetings and other standard documents are filed in the public library, and the same documents should appear on this web site.
